Acupuncture

Acupuncture therapy refers to the stimulation at specific acupoints under the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, which functions to coordinate the organs, unblock the meridians, and harmonize qi and blood, thereby conditioning the body and preventing and treating diseases.

Tuina Massage

Tuina massage refers to the practitioner using their hands to apply pressure on specific acupoints and painful areas on the patient’s body surface. By employing a variety of techniques and strengths, such as pushing, grasping, pressing, rubbing, kneading, pinching, pointing, and patting, it aims to unblock meridians, promote the circulation of qi and blood, support healing, and alleviate pain.

Herbal Therapy

Herbal therapy in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) uses plant, animal, and mineral ingredients to create personalized formulas. These aim to balance the body’s qi, yin, and yang, addressing health issues by harmonizing root causes and symptoms. Administered as teas, powders, tinctures, or pills, herbal therapy is a key aspect of TCM, focused on natural health restoration and prevention.

Moxibustion

Moxibustion is a treatment method that uses the heat generated from moxa sticks or cones made from mugwort leaves to stimulate acupoints or specific parts of the body. This process aims to activate the flow of vital energy (qi) through the meridians to adjust the body’s disordered physiological and biochemical functions, thereby achieving the purpose of disease prevention and treatment.

Cupping

Cupping involves the use of specially designed cups, utilizing methods like igniting fire or vacuuming out air to create a negative pressure inside the cup, causing it to adhere to specific areas on the body’s surface. This results in local skin congestion and bruising, aiming to unblock meridians, promote the flow of qi and blood, reduce swelling, relieve pain, and dispel wind and disperse cold. It is intended to adjust the balance of qi and blood within the body, promoting the body’s self-healing.
